The University of Waterloo's Engineering Jazz Band

Come on out for an evening filled with music at the wonderful Waterloo Town Square in Uptown Waterloo! The University of Waterloo’s very own Engineering Jazz Band, better known as With Respect to Time is putting on their regular end of term charity gig, and this time around we’re bringing the show to Uptown!

This term we have decided to raise funds for the Waterloo Food Bank. Although there is no cost to attend the concert, we will be collecting funds and non-perishable food items on behalf of the Food Bank. We appreciate donations of any size!

For those of you on UW Campus this term, there will be a donation box in the Engineering C’n'D this week, so feel free to leave some change to help generate a donation to the Food Bank on behalf of EngSoc!

Our first gig of Spring 2010 is fast approaching. Everyone has been working hard in rehearsal so it’ll be nice to finally get to perform.

Come check us out on campus at the Student Life Centre. We’re going on Friday June 25th at 9:00 pm.

I’m going to be putting the order in the next few days. Please, please, please if you haven’t already put in an order email me so that I don’t miss anyone.

Anyone who was waiting on reimbursement cheques from the Winter 2010 semester can now pick them up at the Orfice. We apologize for the delay.

Sectionals
Sectionals will be held once a week and will be organized by your section leader. You can harass them for more details once the term begins.

Money, Shirts and Fancy New Things
If you’re a new member, you’re required to pay a $25 fee at the beginning of the term to pay for your awesome band shirt. If you’d like to buy a new one this term, feel free to do so. Please bring your money and shirt size to the May 9th practice.

Dude, where’s my stand?
Colin will take volunteers to help load equipment on a first-come, first-serve basis. The more we have, the easier it is. (Plus, if you help out all term, you’ll get pizza and BEvERages at the end of the term!). If we don’t get enough nice volunteers, one section each week will be voluntold to help with loading, so lend a hand!
